Updated: Mar 1, 2020

Feel a cold coming on or can't seem to kick the crud? Cheers to your immune system!

Ginger & Vitamin C will help boost your immune system. Cinnamon & Turmeric help fight infection, while the cayenne pepper will clear your sinuses. Makes 2 glasses or 8 "shooter shots".

2 or 3 apples

1 lemon

4 oranges or 1 cup orange juice

1 cup chopped fresh ginger, unpeeled

1/4 teas. ground turmeric

1/4 teas. ground cinnamon

1/4 teas. cayenne

1. Peel, quarter & core the apples. Peel and chop the oranges and lemon.

2. Combine the peeled apples, lemon & oranges with the ginger, turmeric, cinnamon & cayenne in a food processor or high speed blender. Blend until liquefied.

3. Strain the juice mixture through a fine mesh strainer set over a bowl.

4. Pour into glasses to enjoy immediately or put the rest in a bottle or jar. Store in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
