Peach Bread


Bread Ingredients:

3/4 cup sugar

2 cups flour

1/2 cup milk

1/2 cup canola or vegetable oil

1 large egg

1 teas. vanilla

2 teas. baking powder

1/4 teas. salt

2 cups peeled & diced fresh peaches


Glaze Ingredients:

2 cups powdered sugar

2 Tbsp. melted butter

1/3 cup diced peaches

1/2 teas. vanilla

2 Tbsp. milk or half n half


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Mix together sugar, milk, oil, egg & vanilla. In another bowl, mix flour, baking powder and salt. Mix the dry & wet ingredients together & stir until ingredients are combined. Do not overmix.

  3. Fold the peaches into the batter.

  4. Pour the bread into a greased bread pan. Bake for approximately 1 hour. A toothpick inserted in center of bread should come out clean when done.

  5. Allow bread to cool completely on a wire rack.

  6. Mix glaze ingredients together. Use more or less milk/half n half until you get glaze consistency.

  7. Once bread is cool, spread glaze on top. Enjoy!

Bread needs to be stored airtight in refrigerator.
